• Take your time. Get to know the person and their family before making any commitment.
• Verify independently. Confirm the other person's name, family, job, and marital status through your own trusted sources.
• Involve your family or a trusted elder early, especially before meeting in person.
• Meet in a public place for the first few meetings, and tell a family member or friend where you are going and who you are meeting.
• Keep conversations on the platform until you are confident about the person.
• Report and block anyone who behaves badly, pressures you, or seems fake.

• Never send money, gifts, or financial help to anyone you meet on the platform, no matter the reason or story. Genuine matches will not ask you for money.
• Do not share sensitive financial details (bank account, UPI, PIN, OTP, passwords, ID numbers, or copies of documents) with other members.
• Do not share your home address or workplace too early.
• Be cautious with anyone who refuses to talk on a call or meet, is in a great hurry, asks for money, has an inconsistent story, or seems “too good to be true”.
• Do not click suspicious links or move your chat to another app at a stranger's request.

• Quickly professing love or urgency to marry.
• Asking for money for an emergency, travel, visa, medical bill, or a “family problem”.
• Avoiding phone or video calls and in-person meetings.
• Requesting your OTP, passwords, or personal documents.
• Pressuring you to keep the relationship secret from your family.

If a member makes you uncomfortable or seems fake or fraudulent, use the Block and Report options in the app, or email us at admin@entematrimony.com with their profile details and what happened. We review reports and may warn, suspend, or remove accounts that break our Terms & Conditions. In an emergency, contact your local police or dial 112.

Ente Matrimony is strictly for adults 18 and above. We have zero tolerance for any content or behaviour that harms children (child sexual abuse or exploitation). We remove such content, ban the accounts involved, and report to the relevant authorities. If you come across anything like this, report it to us immediately. See our Child Safety Standards for details.

We collect only the details needed to run a matchmaking service, such as your name, phone number, date of birth, community, location, education, work, lifestyle, photos, partner preferences, and (optionally) your horoscope details. We use them to build your profile, find suitable matches, verify genuine members, and keep the platform safe.

• Secure sign-in: you log in with a one-time password (OTP) sent to your phone. There is no password to be stolen.
• Encryption: your data is encrypted while it travels to us and while it is stored.
• Trusted infrastructure: we host on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leading cloud provider, primarily in India.
• Access controls: only authorised team members can access personal data, and only when needed.
• Private by default: your phone number is hidden and shared only when you allow it. Your verification selfie is private and never shown on your public profile.
• You stay in control: you can edit your details, control your visibility, turn off notifications, and request deletion of your account at any time.

We do not sell your data or use it for third-party ads. We share it only with:

• Other members: your profile (without private fields) so they can consider you as a match.
• Service providers: AWS (hosting, storage, email), MSG91 (OTP SMS), Expo (notifications), and ProKerala (horoscope matching), strictly to run those features.
• Authorities: only when required by law or to keep members safe.
